California Highway 1.

The car follows the cliff, to our right the immensity of the Pacific Ocean.

We stop to admire the view and an expanse of fuchsia flowers when strange verses at a very high volume surprise us.
Just about ten meters below us there are hundreds of sea lions.

They are divided into small groups.
Some spread out on top of each other and sunbathe on the rocks.
Others dive and play in the water.
Some look at us and start telling us things in their noisy language.
While two sea lions argue with belly bumps and screams, another scratches his chin.

We say goodbye to them in the direction of the purple beach of Big Sur.

I'll wait for you at the next stage of the journey.
